It is with heavy and saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Raymo Mucci beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.
Raymo was born on September 26, 1961, in Fort St. John, BC and passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 62, in Fort St. John, BC. Raymo is survived by his children Kevin Toews of Victoria, BC, Amanda Pohl (Scott) of Grande Prairie, AB, Reagan Mucci of Burnaby, BC, stepson Taylor Ravenhill of West Kelowna, BC, his sisters Yolande Sheppard (Colon) of Bonnyville, AB, Melanie Wenzoski (Donald) of Lumby, BC, Carmen Mucci of Penticton, BC and nieces Tia, Nicole and Brittany Mucci with whom he shared a special relationship, nephews Jon, Stan, Sam, nieces Meagan, Matya, Sarah and Eden and grandchildren Jayla and Saige.
Raymo was predeceased by his brother Lawrence (Lonnie) Mucci (1997) and his parents Sandro (Sandy) (2004) and Josephine Mucci (2000). Raymo leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and very close friends, many with whom he shared a lifetime of memories!
Ray was a fun-loving guy who loved his family and his music deeply! Ray was a regular guitar player and karaoke singer at the Royal Canadian Legion and the Lido in Fort St. John and a regular karaoke singer at the Longhorn Pub in Vernon for 6 years when he lived in the Vernon, Lumby area.
Ray worked in the oilfield in the Fort St. John and northern Alberta area for his entire working career. Ray was always there to crack a joke, lend a hand, pull out his guitar to strum a tune and drink a beer with anyone and everyone!

There will be a prayer service held at the Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Fort St. John on Friday January 5th, 2024 at 2 pm
with a gathering to follow at the Fort St. John Legion.
A memorial service and burial will be held in Lumby in the summer of 2024.
