Obituary of Talon Jacob A Kidner

Talon Jacob A. Kidner

December 10th 1997 - November 27th 2023

Talon came into this world theatrically and that didn't change his whole life. He was born in Kamloops B.C. He was such a happy baby and was the light of Kim's  life. They went everywhere together.  He spent the first 4 years of his life in Kamloops before moving with Kim to Fort  St John B.C. Kim met Martin  and knew he would be an amazing dad and he gladly took on that role. Kim and Martin had two more children, Ripley and Zephyr, and Talon was so excited to be a big brother. He was a natural with the babies and wanted to grow up to have his own. Of course still tormenting them on a daily basis.

Talon dreamed of being a chef. He worked most of his life cooking and loved every minute. We think he just liked the free food.

Talon was a mischievous kid and was always out to drive Kim crazy and make people laugh. It was never a dull moment with him around. He was kind hearted, but never missed an opportunity to drive Kim bonkers. He put her through the wringer on a daily basis but quickly flashed his cute smile and she couldn't stay mad for long.

Talon met the love of his life, Alex, and they dated most of their teenage years before having their own child, Sawyer. He adored his loves Alex and Sawyer so much and would go to the ends of the earth for them. Also trying to drive them crazy on a daily basis.

Talon loved all the music Kim loved along with almost every genre and soon enough started going to concerts with her. His daily life at home was dancing and singing with Kim. He felt deeply and expressed himself through music. Playing guitar was his favorite hobby. Music was his peace. We know he's up there belting out  Frank Sinatra and hanging with his grandma  Bev and best friends, Kagan, Jeremy and Jon. Probably wreaking havoc among the stars.

Rest in peace Talon. You were so loved.

Talon will be forever remembered by his parents Kimberley Kidner Hogg and Martin Hogg, his precious son Sawyer, the love of his life Alex Auger, siblings Ripley and Zephyr, grandparents George Kidner and Shannon Arnott. He was pre-deceased by his beloved grandmother Beverley Kidner who loved him with every ounce of her being. He will also be missed by uncles and aunts Kevin Kidner, Nicole Kidner, Sean Kidner and Mike Arnott, cousins Jacob Kidner, Jenna Kidner, Matthew Pennanen, Nikki Wiley and Rob Pickering, as well as many extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins and more.

There will be a celebration of life for Talon on Tuesday, December 19 at the Lido between 4:00 and 7:00 pm.  Those unable to attend may join the livestream HERE

Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like on
A-Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me

Fill my heart with song and let me sing forevermore
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you

Fill my heart with song
Let me sing forevermore
You are all I long for, all I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words
In other words
I love you
