It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Nicholas Dragojevich
shares the news of his sudden passing on July 8, 2026.
Nick was born in Fort St. John, British Columbia, the first of two children born to Clayton Jenkins and
Catharine Dragojevich. From a young age, he was known for his mischievous spirit,
quick wit, and infectious sense of humour. As he grew older, while he never completely lost his playful nature,
he channelled his determination into boxing, fitness, and his passion for writing and film.
Boxing was far more than a sport to Nick—it was a community and a second family.
He often spoke fondly of his coaches and teammates and cherished the time spent training, sparring, travelling,
and competing throughout British Columbia and Alberta. The discipline and friendships he found through boxing remained an important part of his life.
Following his graduation from North Peace Secondary School, Nick attended the University of Victoria,
where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Film. His creativity, curiosity,
and love of storytelling were reflected in both his studies and the way he approached the world.
Nick will be remembered for his strong work ethic, sharp sense of humour, unwavering love for his family,
and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, charisma,
and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and he will be deeply missed.
Nick is lovingly remembered by his parents, Clayton Jenkins and Catharine Dragojevich;
his sisters, Samantha Jenkins and Emily Gibson; and his grandmother, Lynn Dragojevich.
He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pomeroy Hotel and Conference Centre
in Fort St. John on August 15, 2026, at 11am.
A reception with refreshments will follow the service.
