Obituary of Shane Girard Pratt

March 2, 1970 - June 23, 2026.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shane Girard Pratt. Shane passed away at the age of 56 on June 23, 2026.

Born on March 2, 1970, in Blairmore, Alberta, Shane lived a life defined by love, kindness, and hard work. He was a true family man and enjoyed every moment spent with them. 

Shane will be remembered for his warm smile, generous heart, sense of humor, and the countless memories made with those he loved. 

Shane is survived by his wife DoraLee, Children; James (Rachel), ShayLee (Dallas), and JayCee.  His grandchildren Hayzl, Arlo, and Avery. Parents Greg and Inis, sister Nicki (Rick) and many friends and family.   

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, at 3:00 p.m. at the Taylor Community Hall.

Following the service, the family warmly invites everyone to remain at the hall for an evening of visiting, sharing memories, and enjoying good food as we celebrate a life well lived.
