Born on September 29, 1934, in Athabasca, Alberta, Ron was the son of Ned Woodford and Pearl Woodford-Tilton. He was a man of many talents and passions, leaving a mark on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Ron was a dedicated grader operator for many years, a profession that suited his love for the open road and the great outdoors. Known affectionately as "The Roadrunner" by his family, he had an insatiable wanderlust. His love for driving was matched only by his remarkable ability to fix almost anything. Whether it was a broken piece of machinery or a family member's cherished possession, Ron had a knack for taking things apart and putting them back together.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marianne Woodford, who stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing countless memories and adventures over their many years together. Ron's legacy lives on through his children: Ramona Woodford, Michael E.L. Woodford, Suzanne Jobin (Richard), Martin Townsend (Debbie), Sonja Eckel (Dennis), Sandra Fehr, Michael H.
