Obituary of Bryan Alexander Carroll
Bryan Alexander Carroll, born March 24th, 1949, passed away at home on May 21st, 2026 at the age of 77.
Bryan was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia to parents Leo and Anne Caroll. In his early career he began working as a police officer in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
After working as a police officer, Bryan went on to serve as an RCMP officer on the East and West coasts of Canada, dedicating 22 years to the line of service.
In 1967 he would meet Linda, going on to have two wonderful children; Elizabeth and Thomas, and they would spend 55 years utterly devoted to one another.
In 2001 Corporal Bryan Carroll retired from the RCMP in Fort St. John, BC. He spent his days golfing and enjoying his days with his grandchildren. In his later years he went on to become a great grandfather, forming a special bond with his great grandson Casey.
He is predeceased by his parents, Leo and Anne, but will continue to live on through his wife Linda; his brother David; his children Elizabeth and Thomas; grandchildren Curtis, Kyle, Mercedes MacLeod, and Brooke MacLeod; and his great grandson Casey.
Bryan will be laid to rest with his family in Nova Scotia.
There will be a celebration of life on June 18th in the Festival Plaza in Fort St. John, from 6pm-9pm.
