Peggy-Anne Gregoire

Obituary of Peggy-Anne Gregoire

Peggy Anne Gregoire, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Born on March 28, 1960, in Red Deer, Alberta, Peggy was a vibrant spirit whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. She was 66 years old at the time of her passing.

Peggy was the cherished wife of Guy Gregoire, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love for over four decades. Their partnership was a testament to the beauty of companionship, filled with laughter, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Together, they created a loving home that was a sanctuary for their two daughters, Tricia and Heather. Peggy took immense pride in her role as a mother, dedicating herself to nurturing her daughters with love and guidance. She was their biggest cheerleader, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams and be true to themselves.

Family was everything to Peggy. She found joy in the simplest moments spent with her loved ones, whether it was hosting game nights filled with laughter and friendly competition or embarking on adventures to local thrift shops and yard sales. Peggy had an eye for hidden treasures and a knack for finding unique items that would bring joy to her family and friends. Her enthusiasm for these outings was infectious, and she often returned home with stories that would leave everyone in stitches.

Peggy's love for animals was evident throughout her life. She had a special bond with her pets, treating them as cherished members of the family. Her home was always filled with the sounds of playful barks and purrs, and she took great joy in caring for her furry companions. They brought her comfort and companionship, especially during quiet moments when she could simply enjoy their presence.

As per her wishes, there will not be a funeral service. Instead, Peggy's family invites all who knew and loved her to remember her in their own special way. Whether it be through sharing a favorite memory, enjoying a game night with friends, or simply taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of life, they encourage everyone to celebrate the joy that Peggy brought into their lives.

Peggy Anne Gregoire leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. She is survived by her devoted husband, Guy; her loving daughters, Tricia and Heather; and her dear brother, Joe. While her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Peggy not with tears of grief, but with smiles of gratitude for the time we shared with her. May her memory be a guiding light, reminding us to cherish our loved ones, seek out joy in the little things, and always approach life with an open heart.
