Obituary of Valerie Joan Rushton

Valerie Rushton

1959 - 2026

 

With saddened hearts, the family of Valerie Rushton announces her unexpected passing on April 29th, 2006. She was taken too soon at the age of 67 years old.

 

Left behind to mourn are her children Violet (Guy) Lapointe of Bonnyville, AB and Joe (Pam) Rushton of Sherwood Park, AB; treasured grandchildren Darrien, Wyatt, Connor, Madison, Tyler & Kaitlyn; her siblings Allan Hoisington, Sharon Marthaller, Jeanie King, Julie Coderre (Davide Simioli); treasured nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

 

Valerie was predeceased by her parents Reuben Hoisington and Joan Hoisington, as well as her beloved fur-companion Susie.

 

Her time here was spent not just with her family, but with many friendships and laughs, including a special dedication she had to the staff and residents at Peace Villa where she worked for many years.

 

As per her wishes, cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest with her family in Rocky Mountain House, AB. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
