Keith James Diehl

September 27, 1935 - April 19, 2026

Keith James Diehl, 90, passed away peacefully into his Creator's arms on April 19, 2026, at Peace Villa in Fort St. John, BC. Born on September 27, 1935, in New Castle, PA, Keith lived a life defined by faith, family, and a curious, inventive spirit.

A machinist by trade, Keith was also an inventor of sorts; while some of his creations were formally patented, many others were born simply out of necessity and his natural talent for problem-solving. Above all, Keith loved the Lord with all his heart from a very young age. He lived his life in the light of that love, sharing it generously with everyone he met. 

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marilyn; his sons, David (Cheryl), William (Sandra), and Steven (Mila); seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Bonnie (Maurice), in January 2020. 

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Peace Villa for their kind and considerate care of Keith over the past five and a half years, as they worked alongside Marilyn to ensure his comfort. 

A celebration of life to honor Keith will be held at Christian Life Center (8923 -112th Ave, Fort St. John, BC) on May 2, 2026, at 10:00 am.
