Our deepest condolences to the Fraser-Soule-Stewart families. Ella Fraser was an incredible woman. I first met Ella in the late 1980s when I was living in Victoria, BC and working for Tourism BC. As the director of the Peace River Alaska Tourism Association, Ella participated in many tourism conferences. She was a strong, proud voice that ensured Victoria knew what was needed in Northern BC. When we relocated to Fort St. John in 1997, it wasn't long before Ella and I became friends. No matter how busy Ella was, she always had time for a chat or a social gathering. She was wise and witty, honest and authentic, and a great role model for women. We feel blessed to have had the gift of her friendship. Hers was a life well lived. Twila and family - my deepest condolences. I loved your mom very soon after I met her. She was wise, gentle, thoughtful, fun and she cared so much about others. We had good times volunteering together in the mid to late 80s. You were so blessed to have her for this long. And now your dad is blessed to see her again. I’m so sorry we will not be here to attend her service.
