Schelby Lyle L’Hirondelle

August 6, 1992 – February 19, 2026

 

 

Born in Peace River, Alberta, Schelby passed away unexpectedly at the age of 33.

 

Schelby had a kind and gentle soul. Exceptionally intelligent and quick-witted, he was known for his sharp mind and effortless sense of humor. A natural learner, he could grasp and master anything he chose to pursue. Beneath his exterior was a deeply compassionate heart. He was a steady supporter and encourager to those in his life, and his presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

 

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Fleuri and Rose L’Hirondelle, and Frank Cunningham, and by his great-grandmother, Anne Calahasen.

 

He is lovingly remembered by his mother Connie Cunningham; his father Lyle L’Hirondelle; his sister Vanessa and nephew Deekon; his sister Misty and nephew Jaxson; his grandmother Caroline Cunningham; his cousin Blake, his best friend Phil, his oldest friend Nick, and his childhood friend Kyle — who were more like brothers to him — as well as extended family, friends, and all those whose lives were changed by knowing him.
