Obituary of Katherine Grace Miller
In Memory of
Katherine Grace Miller
1960 – 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Katherine (Kathy) Miller on January 21, 2026 at the age of 65.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband Bill Andrieuk. She was cherished by her sisters and brothers who all called her “bub” because she was the youngest sibling. The youngest of six, she leaves behind her sisters Pauline, Suzanne (Edgar), and Ruth; her brothers Charlie (Sharon), and Graham. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Roz, brother-in-law George (Val), and many nephews, nieces, and friends. She leaves, to cherish her memory, her special friends Ivy, Merrill, and Diane. She will, also, be missed by many co-workers and clients in the Real Estate business.
Kathy approached everything she did with tenacity and positivity to the very end. She was active in her Fort St. John community, her Powder King community, her boating community, and with her family and friends. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She loved her work; enjoyed cooking, skiing, snowshoeing, walking, cycling, boating and time with her family and friends.
During the last few years, she divided her time between Fort St. John, Powder King, and Saanich, BC. She made friends and fun wherever she was. Her absence will be deeply felt by those that were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, optimism, kindness, compassion, and professionalism.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at the Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care Unit for the compassionate care and support they gave to Kathy in her final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Fort St. John in the Spring. We will confirm the date on this website when arrangements have been made.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Centre or the BC Cancer Foundation in memory of Kathy Miller.
