It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Damein Apsassin of Blueberry River First Nations. 

Damein was 25 years of age. 

A wake for Damein will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Blueberry River First Nation Community Hall. 

There will be a funeral service for Damein on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Blueberry River First Nation Community Hall with an interment following at the Blueberry River First Nation Cemetery.
