Obituary of Chad Wayne Gilmore
In loving Memory of Chad Gilmore. With great sadness, we share the passing of Chad unexpectedly on December 30, 2025.
Chad was an active person with many dreams and projects. He enjoyed people and could talk to anyone, but also found rejuvenation in nature; camping, hiking (with Harrison), kayaking, fishing and, in winter, sledding. He took great pride in his work, largely in the oilpatch industry, most recently as a dedicated landman for Ovintiv. Chad was a true friend to his buddies, enjoying many adventures along the way.
The outpouring of support and condolences has been a blessing to Chad’s family. Thank you so much. Chad leaves behind a large family, circle of friends, and co-workers.

Funeral Service will be held at Charlie Lake Community Church, Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at 11 am.
Refreshments to follow in the church basement. Private Interment for family and close friends at Woodlawn Cemetery at about 3 pm.
