It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our sweet, beloved, 13-year-old boy, Trace Morrell.

Born September 28, 2012, in Fort St. John, BC, to Shayna and Jackson Morrell, Trace was a proud and loving big brother to Knox & Atlas Morrell.

Trace was a very active kid who had a natural ability with anything he chose to do. He loved playing hockey, lacrosse, dirtbiking and mountain-biking, shooting guns, and learning new songs to play on his guitar.

Trace will be most remembered for his sweet and loving demeanour, ability to make people smile and laugh, tenacious work ethic, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Trace will be dearly missed by his mother and father, his little brothers, his grandparents, multiple aunties & uncles, cousins, extended family, along with his teammates and friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thirteen years was not long enough, Trace, but we will forever cherish the time we had with you and hold close the loving memories we made. You will always be in our hearts. Fly high, our sweet boy.

Please join the family in celebrating Trace's life on Wednesday, January 7th at 2pm at the Northern Grand Ballroom in Fort St. John.
