“Sunshine”

August 5, 1959 – December 30, 2025

With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Marlene Michel Cantrell, affectionately known as “Sunshine,” who entered eternal rest on December 30, 2025.

A Wake will be held on January 9, 2026, at 5:00 pm at Chalo Gym, Fort Nelson First Nation.

A Funeral Service will take place on January 10, 2026, at 2:00 pm, also at Chalo Gym.
Following the service, Burial will take place at FNFN Cemetery at 4:00 pm, with Dinner to follow at 5:00 pm at Chalo Gym.

In lieu of flowers, to honor our mother’s wishes and the deep love and joy she found in becoming a grandmother, donations may be made to support her two grandchildren, Sky and Jasper.
