With heartfelt sadness, we remember Bonnie - beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was full of life, worked hard, and possessed incredible survival skills.
Deeply connected to her family, Bonnie loved beautiful things and found joy in the little wonders of life.
Her warm spirit and kind heart touched everyone she knew.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Yaroslav (Yaro) Ivanko; her mother, Leona (Len) Froese; her siblings, Garnet, Bobby, Richard, Dennis Jack (Susan), Jorlene, Denver (Isabel), Stuart (Amy),
Stan (Raechel), Curtis, and Jodi (Bill); her uncle and aunts, Sam, Jean, Annie, and Shirley.
She will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Charlotte Acko and Robert Paquette; grandparents, Ray and Akully Acko; Morris and Eva (Dejarlais) Paquette; her father who raised her, John Froese; and her brother Casey Paquette.
Pallbearers will be Bill Maples, Stuart Froese, Curtis Froese, Stan Froese, Terry Bauld and Linden Stoney.
Honorary Pallbearers are the many familiy and friends who loved her.
Bonnie's light will forever shine in our hearts.
A Wake for Bonnie will be held at 7:00 pm at the DOIG River First Nations Gymnasium on Thursday, October 30, 2025
Drumming/Tea Dance will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 10:00 am in the DRFN Gymnasium with a
Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am.
Burial will be at the DOIG River First Nations Cemetery
