Obituary of Marlene Ann Lessing

Marlene Lessing

October 3, 1940 - September 9, 2025

Marlene lived a full life from early years moving from Saskatchewan, raising children to working at the Fort St. John Hospital from 1978 - 1995 and travelling in later years.

Going to the Seniros Hall and playing cards was definately a highlight for her. A cup of tea and a game of cards at her home, were a part of a visit.

The joy on her face when you entered the room made you feel welcome. Unconditional love.

Marlene will be remembered as a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, faithful friend, a good person that cared for others and a very hard worker, Her favorite role was Grandma, she loved them to bits, so proud of their accomplishments, always wishing them well.

Marlene will be missed by her Daughters - Carla (Ken), Michelle (Matt), and Gwen (Dale); her Son, Aaron

Grandchildren - Zackary, Adrianna, Kirby, Braden, Nikki, Brian, and Alanna

Great-grandchildren - Blake, Kayden, Keyandra, Aubrey, Harper, Sawyer, Addison, and Cassius

Marlene was pre-deceased by her Husband - Ralph Lessing and Grandson - Martin Andrew King

We would like to thank the staff at Peace Villa for the wonderful care they gave her and support to us.

Family was by her side in the final hours.

Marlene's journey on earth has ended, but she will always be in our hearts.
