Celebrating the Life of John Middleton
Born Saturday, December 26, 1936 in Regina, Saskatchewan
Passed Away, Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the age of 88
John was the first-born child of Alice and George Middleton,
Born December 26, 1936, in Regina Saskatchewan.
He lived with his grandparents in Regina until he finished his
school years.
John moved to Rose Prairie where he began working with his dad
in construction and worked on the oil rigs. After some years, he
began his career as a mechanic.
He started his family life with his first child being born in 1958
and continued to reside in Fort St John, BC, working as a
mechanic for Tompkins. In 1967 he moved his family to Muncho Lake.
After working as a mechanic for several years, he then became a
Superintendent on the Alaska Highway.
John always enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a strong passion for
music, he could play numerous instruments - the steel guitar became
his most passionate, which he could still pick and play late in life.
John is survived by his loving wife Diane, his children,
Suzanne (Bob), Leslie (Pete), Pat, Joanne (Brian), Gord (Renee),
Samantha (Trent), Rob (Desiree), his siblings, Roger, Dave, Erle, Ian,
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many loved family
and friends.
John is predeceased by his parents, George and Alice,
brother George (Buddy) and sister Judy.
John passed away peacefully, surrounded by
the love of his wife Diane, and all his children.
