Obituary of Tammy Lynne MacKenzie
Tammy MacKenzie
1968 - 2025
Tammy Lynne Mackenzie, born on February 1, 1968, in Dawson Creek, BC, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, in Fort St John, BC, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unforgettable memories that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
In her final moments, the sun poured through open windows as her family sat by her side. Her favourite songs played softly in the background, meaningful quotes were read aloud, a pot of tea was steeping, and her beloved dogs lay snuggled around her - just the way she wanted it.
Tammy's love for her family was evident in everything she did. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Ryan Mackenzie, her cherished daughter, Shea-Lynne Kirkpatrick, her beloved son, Jack Mackenzie, her precious grandchild, Addalynne Kirkpatrick and dear son in law Devon Kirkpatrick. She was the beloved daughter of Faye Wilk, a cherished sister to Kim Liwiski, a proud aunty and a dear relative to her cousins and uncles. Her passing has left a void in their lives that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in their hearts forever.
Her love for nature and the ocean brought her peace and joy, and her love for music filled her home with warmth and harmony. In addition to her love for nature and music, Tammy had a passion for cooking and creating delicious meals. Her culinary talents brought joy and comfort to those around her, and her love for great-tasting food was a reflection of her generous and nurturing spirit. She loved hosting and entertaining guests at her home, where there was always delicious food, drinks and a good game of dice ready to be played.
Tammy's passing has left a profound impact on her family and friends, but they find solace in knowing that she is at peace. Her memory will be honored and celebrated at the Evangel Church on July 22nd at 1:30 pm, all who knew and loved Tammy are welcome to attend.
