She was born on April 15, 1953, in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.

A Funeral Service in honour of Betty's life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Taylor Community Hall, followed by a memorial tea to gather and remember her with stories, laughter, and love.
