Jens "Peter" Lundsgaard, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on May 24, 2025, in Fort St John, BC, Canada, leaving behind a legacy of love, and cherished memories. Born on August 1, 1938, in Aarhus, Denmark, Peter was the son of Thyra and Johannes Lundsgaard.  Peter grew up surrounded by the beauty of his homeland before following a passion for adventure and moving to Canada where he built his life, his home and his family.

Peter was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Fern. Peter was also a proud and doting father to his daughters, Meghan (Rees) and Nadine (Dustin), and his love for them knew no bounds.

In addition to his immediate family, Peter was brother to Inglise (Bjarne), and his presence brought light and laughter to every gathering. His smile and kind heart endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his impact on the lives of those around him was immeasurable.

One of Peter's greatest joys was the love he held for his grandchildren, and he cherished every moment with them, often sitting back and watching the beautiful chaos with a grin on his face. He was a source of wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love, and his presence in their lives will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on through the memories and values he imparted to each of them, his love will continue to inspire and guide them throughout their lives.
