Obituary of Kari Aud Williamson
In Loving Memory of Kari Aud Williamson
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Kari Aud Williamson on May 15th, 2025, at the Fort St. John Hospital, just shy of her 84th birthday.
Kari was born on June 7th, 1941, in Norway and immigrated to Canada in the fall of 1982, settling in Hudson’s Hope, BC with her husband Berge Humborstad and their three children.
Kari was predeceased by her beloved son Børre, husband Berge, grandson Tanner, son Sverre, and partner Bill.
She was a truly special person whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Kari is lovingly remembered by her daughters Hege (Barry) and Britt (Keith), daughter-in-law Suzette, and her cherished grandchildren: Garrett (Nicole), Michael (Lindsay), Wyatt (Catie), Logan (Mackenzie), Conner, Anika (Logan), Rebekka (Jayden), and Curtis (Teagan). She was also a proud great-grandmother to Jacob and Jack.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have shared kind words, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time. We are truly blessed to live in such a caring and loving community.
A Celebration of Life for Kari will be held in August, and all who knew her are welcome to attend and share in remembering the beautiful life she lived.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Kari to the Canadian Cancer Society.
