It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of lifelong resident, Doreen Janice (Shawchek) Markham. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and cherished friend that will be dearly missed. 

Our deepest gratitude goes out to Dr. Wright and all of the amazing staff at the Fort St. John Cancer Clinic.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 31st, 2025 at 2pm at the Charlie Lake Community Church. A tea and potluck visit will be held at the church following the service.
