Obituary of Nicole Loraine Mary McKee

~In Loving Memory~

Nicole Loraine Mary McKee passed away on April 4, 2025 in Charlie Lake, BC at the age of 32 years. She was born on June 1, 1992 in Revelstoke, BC.
She was the cherished daughter of Kathy Kinley and Craig McKee and a loving sister to Kimberly McKee, stepdaughter to Bill Kinley, granddaughter to Ken & Loraine Wilhelm and Helen McKee. Loved by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends near and far. She was a loving mom to her precious fur babies, Thrash, Rooster, Beast and Spawn.

Nicole was the “fun aunty” to her “farm kids”, the neighborhood kids, and others. In her heart she always wanted to be a mom.

Nicole was a radiant old soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her infectious sense of humour, laughter and compassion for people, the elderly, and animals brought joy to her and those around her.  Her sense of humour was one of a kind and she loved making people laugh, playing practical jokes, and creating funny nicknames. Nicole was a free spirit with an appreciation for tattoos, she wore them well and lived life on her own terms.

Nicole’s passion for her work was unwavering and very important to her.  In her adult years she worked at sawmills in Revelstoke BC, and the pulp mill in Mackenzie BC. Her last employment was at Canfor Sawmill in Fort St John BC and held many positions operating machinery, and clean up in the sawmill and planer mill, but her passion was in the saw filing room where she completed her level 2 saw filer until the mill closed permanently Dec. 2024.

Nicole loved the outdoors and camping which started at an early age of 1 yrs old with family and friends and spent many good times and memories at Eagle Bay, BC. In recent years her move to Fort St John and then to Charlie Lake, had more outdoor adventures, camping, fishing, with her friends, and to take her beloved dogs for a swim down to the local river or lake. Other activities she enjoyed were volleyball, bowling, cooking, boardgames, favorite music bands, video games, boxing, motocross races, UFC,

Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Panthers, and was an avid reader.

Nicole’s passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her and she will be deeply missed, but her beautiful kind spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her, and her memory will be forever cherished through the lives she touched.

May she rest in peace.
