My deepest love and condolences to my nieces and nephews, Susie, Doug, Sandy and John and your families. I was only four when Betty moved to BC from Ontario so my memories are not of growing up with Betty but of the many visits back and forth between Ontario and BC. I remember receiving letters from Betty throughout my childhood, one that always stood out to me was the letter she wrote me with a very endearing title and then saying how she could hardly believe she now had a daughter that was older than I was when she left for BC. Every time that the family would hear that Betty and Elwood were coming back to Ontario for a visit there was an air of festivity like a huge upcoming celebration or holiday. I will forever hold those memories in my heart. I love you Betty, your sister Elaine
