It is with heavy hearts that the family of Frances Moffat announce her passing at her home in Fort St. John, BC with her daughters by her side. Frances passed away at the age of 92 after a two year battle with cancer.
Frances was born in Pulp River, Manitoba on October 28, 1932 to Steve Gingera and Pauline Gingera (nee Burtniak). Her brother Orest was born in Pulp River in 1936. In 1948, the family moved to Birch River, Manitoba and her sister, Gloria was born in 1951.
It was in Birch River where Frances met Clinton Thomas Moffat and they married on November 19, 1954. They were happily married until Clint's passing on May 26, 1992.
Their children, Shawna and Calvin were born in Birch River and after moving to Fort St. John in 1962, Audrey was born.
Frances had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh, she will be forever missed by family and friends.
Frances was devoted to her family and her greatest wish was for their health and happiness. She loved being a mom, grandma and great grandma and having her family close by brought her great joy and endless smiles.
Frances is survived by her Daughters Shawna and Audrey; Sons-in-law Tom and Todd; Daughter-in-law Kim and Kim's son Calvin; grandchildren Ward, Clancy, Carson, Alex, Maegan and Emma; great-grandchildren Liam, Hardy, James, Willa, Addy and Layla.

Frances was pre-deceased by her sister Gloria, husband Clint, brother Orest, and son Calvin.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. M. Wright, Glenda Spoffard and the palliative team. Without their support we would not have been able to keep mom at home until her passing. Also special thanks to family and friends who were there for us.
