Obituary of Barbara Jean Pomeroy

Barbara Watchel Pomeroy

Born in Pierceland, Saskatchewan 

Thursday March 30th 1944

When Barbara was 3 years old, her family moved to Fort St. John, British Columbia.

She attended Baldonnel school and later North Peace High School, where she met Dewayne Pomeroy.

They were married on March 14th 1963 and were married until his passing on August 2, 1986.

Together they had 3 children - Noel (Cindy), Chris who passed away March 3rd 2022, and one daughter, Heather. 

Barbara did have some wild adventures, but in the last few years she happily spent most of her time working in her yard and flower beds.

On the morning of February 6th, Barbara went into the hospital and on February 12th she passed away quietly and without pain. 

Barbara left behind 7 grandchildren - Cora, Christa, Katie, Amanda, Coyne, Chance and Tyson. 

2 great grandchildren - Jayce and Acacia.

As well as two fur babies - Kevin and Gracie.

A service wll be held on Monday March 10th at 11:00 am in the Hamres Funeral Chapel with Gord Klassen officiating.
