We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of Eliza Benterud (Krauss).

Eliza was born on March 29, 1990, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and passed away on February 5, 2025, in Dawson Creek, British Columbia.

Eliza was a devoted wife and mother who loved life, loved people, and above all, loved the Lord. She had a sweet demeanour, bubbly personality, and kind spirit which brightened any room she entered. She will be sorely missed.

Eliza will be missed greatly by:

Husband ~ Dustin Benterud

Children ~ Ingrid (7), Freyja (5), Iver (4), Greta (2), Jane (2), and Elsa (newborn)

Parents ~ Gerald and Tracy Krauss

Siblings ~ Lydia (James) Mannion, Priscilla (Kurtis) Benterud, and Zachary Krauss

Father and Mother-In-Law ~ Delbert and Debby Benterud

Dustin’s Siblings ~ Kurtis (Priscilla) Benterud, Sonja (Ian) Moore, and Kandace (Braden) Brown

Nieces and Nephews ~ Evangeline, Brynja, Bjorn, Fredrick, Myfanwy, Theodore, Adeline, Hendrik, Audrey, and Benjamin

A funeral service will be held at the North Peace MB Church in Fort St. John on Monday, February 17, at 10:30 AM, followed by an interment at Sunrise Valley Mountainview Cemetery, and a gathering at the Famington Community Hall.
